Sharjah 24: The Al-Madam Cultural and Sports Club, as part of its 11th Ramadan Tournament, recently organised a Ramadan session under the theme "Enhancing Family Life" at the majlis of Sheikh Mohammed Mudhid bin Huwaidin Al Katbi, in the heart of the Al Madam area.
The session, spearheaded by Dr. Ismail Al Breimi, garnered participation from the club's leadership and local residents alike. It was crafted to illuminate the paramount significance of family cohesion, stability, and social unity. Emphasising the weighty societal responsibility shouldered by parents, the session endeavoured to foster robust family bonds and facilitate constructive communication channels between parents and children. It delved into the implementation of best practices aimed at nurturing wholesome family dynamics, while also accentuating the pivotal role of sports clubs in positively shaping the physical and mental well-being of children.

Moreover, the session aspired to galvanise parents into active engagement with their children, imparting upon them essential values and ethics while nurturing their innate talents. It underscored the pivotal role of the family unit in fortifying community ties and instilling national identity values in the younger generation.

Dr. Ismail Al Breimi lauded the tireless efforts of the Sharjah government, under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in prioritising family welfare and the holistic development of children. He underscored the critical importance of ensuring familial security, fostering effective communication, and cultivating a culture of shared responsibilities.

Furthermore, Dr. Al Breimi underscored the importance of instilling moral values, social consciousness, and a spirit of volunteerism in children, advocating for their active involvement in national endeavours. He championed the early identification and nurturing of children's talents as a cornerstone for cultivating a generation of adept individuals.

Dr. Al Breimi fervently urged families to lead healthy lifestyles by involving their children in sports activities, leveraging the robust support provided by sports clubs and centres across Sharjah.

In closing, Dr. Al Breimi cautioned against the detrimental influences of excessive social media consumption and the perilous pursuit of success at the expense of family relationships, underscoring the need for a balanced approach to life's endeavours.
