Al Madam Desert Games returns with thrilling challenges

Sharjah 24: Sultan Mohammad Muadhad bin Huwaiden, Chairman of Al Madam Cultural and Sports Club, announced the successful conclusion of the second edition of the Al Madam Desert Games, held in Al Badayer on February 1–2. The event attracted a notable number of participants and enthusiasts of desert sports.

A unique sporting experience in a desert setting

The event seeks to enhance sports culture in desert settings, drawing in tourists and adventure enthusiasts with a range of competitive and recreational sporting challenges, all framed by a breathtaking natural landscape.

Challenge and entertainment

The events showcased a variety of desert-themed sports, such as beach football, basketball, volleyball, archery, and a marathon. The marathon featured a 1 km race for children and a 5 km race for adults, enhancing the competitive and engaging nature of the event.
