Sharjah 24: The second edition of the Ramadan Football Championship for both Al Ashbal and Al Bara'am categories commenced at Dibba Al Hisn Club, an event orgnised by the club as part of its Ramadan activities.

The championship features the participation of 15 teams—10 for Al Bara'am and 5 for Al Ashbal. These competitions are slated to run until Thursday, March 28th.

The championship was well received by the sizable audience in attendance. Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al Hamoudi, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, delivered an address underscoring the significance of this communal endeavour, aimed at fostering sportsmanship among players. He emphasised the importance of hosting championships and sporting events during the holy month of Ramadan.

Following the opening ceremony, the participating teams commenced their displays with the staging of six matches—two for Al Ashbal and four for Al Bara'am.
