Sharjah24: The Suburban Council of Suhaila recently held a meeting to discuss the importance of community coordination with the Kalba Municipal Council (KMC). The council members engaged in a productive conversation about ways to enhance collaboration and cooperation between the two entities for the betterment of the community.
The Suhaila Suburb Council (SSC) recently held a coordination meeting with the Municipal Council in Kalba City to address various important topics that directly impact the interests and needs of the residents. The meeting centred around the exploration of opportunities for collaborative coordination.
The meeting discussed the consequences of the recent weather fluctuations that impacted the city, examining potential solutions and proposals to minimise its future effects.
Both councils stressed the importance of improving infrastructure in the city by building drainage channels and valley paths, and linking them to rainwater drainage channels.
Additionally, there was a discussion on developing sewage networks for suburban areas and addressing overflow issues.
After the meeting ended, participants emphasised a number of additional concerns. These included the need for road maintenance to prevent rainstorm damage, finding solutions for areas prone to rainwater accumulation, addressing the issue of abandoned houses, and requesting the creation of a park in the mosque vicinity. They also called for the development of the Sadr Park roundabout and improvements to Sadr Park itself.
At the end of the meeting, participants emphasized additional concerns, such as urging road maintenance to mitigate rainstorm damage, tackling rainwater accumulation in susceptible areas, devising solutions for abandoned properties, and advocating for the creation of a park near the mosque. Additionally, they called for developing the Al Sidra Park roundabout and improvements to the park itself.
