Sharjah24: The Sharjah Football Club Board of Directors met in the presence of its members, chaired by Khaled Isa Al-Midfa, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Football Club and Director of Sharjah Football Company. The meeting went over various agenda topics.
The Sharjah Football Club Board of Directors reaffirmed the club's commitment to providing full support to the first team, academy, and youth teams, emphasising the importance of hard work and proper planning in achieving goals and maintaining the club's position as a major force on the UAE football map.
The discussion covered the first team's current state and the medical staff's attempts to rehabilitate injured players. The Board instructed that the condition of players now receiving treatment be monitored, any hurdles to the medical staff's work be removed, and periodic assessment and evaluation be continued.
The Board underlined the importance of focusing on forthcoming tournaments, particularly the Qatar-UAE Super Cup, in which the team will meet Qatar Cup champions Al-Arabi in April, and the President's Cup competition, which Sharjah has won in the previous two seasons.
The Board also evaluated a draft of laws governing player transfers, as well as the application of the highest levels of professionalism and institutionalism in transfers, while also considering compliance and alignment with local and international legislation.
