His Eminence Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, stated that the lecture focused on how Islam considers good dealings between people as a basis for building a cohesive and loving society. He introduced examples from the Prophet’s biography and Quranic verses that emphasise the necessity of honesty, trustworthiness, and mercy in daily dealings, be they with Muslims or non-Muslims.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, His Eminence Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Duwaini pointed out the importance of this lecture and the messages that he wishes to convey to the public, stressing that its aim is to shed light on the moral and humanitarian aspect of Islam and how religion is not just worship practices, but it is a comprehensive life system that deals with all aspects of humanity.
The Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif added that the lecture touched on the challenges facing Muslims in the modern era, and how adherence to the true values of religion can lead to confronting these challenges with patience and wisdom. The lecture also highlighted the importance of education and upbringing on these values since childhood, to ensure the upbringing of a generation capable of carrying the banner of Islam with a deep understanding and correct application.
