Sharjah24: A delegation from the Districts Affairs Department familiarised themselves with the practices and procedures of the Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW), learning about candidate preparation and qualification for the "Excellence in Job - Irtaqi" award, along with the department's focus on institutional excellence initiatives. This occurred during a formal meeting where the visitors, including members of the Excellence Committee, learned about the department's methods for motivating exceptional employees and its internal institutional excellence award. The visit also involved a detailed presentation on the criteria, categories, conditions, and outcomes of the Irtaqi award.

Engineer Hind Nasser, Director of the Strategic Planning and Quality Centre at SDPW,, emphasised the department's commitment to collaborating with other government entities to achieve shared goals in developing work and institutional performance using global best practices and the latest advancements.

The delegation was briefed on the requirements for job excellence, the types of documentation and evidence utilised by the department for participation in the "Excellence in Job" award, and Issa Sharar from the Strategic Planning and Quality Centre provided insight into the work processes and activities related to job excellence standards, successful experiences, and effective practices.
