Sharjah 24: During the holy month of Ramadan, the "Iftar for Passersby" initiative got underway, on Tuesday, under the direction of the Cultural and Community Committee of Al Hamriyah Club.

The initiative intends to distribute Iftar meals to tourists in Al Hamriyah neighbourhood every Tuesday during the blessed month, in collaboration with Al Hamriyah Comprehensive Police Station.

According to Ahmed Al Shamsi, the club's Executive Director, the "Iftar for Passersby" project is a Ramadan tradition that the club continues to maintain.

He underlined that the effort embodies the humanitarian attitude and honourable actions of Emirati society, and he thanked Al Hamriyah Police Station and the supervision team for their participation.
