Sharjah 24: According to Abubakr Al Kendi, the General Coordinator of the 21st Sharjah Heritage Days, around 111,000 people visited the event in Sharjah City and the surrounding areas in the east and central sectors.
Al Kendi recognised the contributions of government bodies and key partners during a ceremony that took place on Saturday at the Sharjah Heart Zone stage. Recognising the Heritage Days' organising committees, principal and subsidiary sponsors, and other contributors is crucial, he said.
Speaking to "Sharjah 24," Al Kendi said that the crowds show how important this event is to the community as a whole. He emphasised that the cultural spectacle in Sharjah was organised by more than 600 people, representing 12 different nations. One of these was the Republic of South Korea, which served as the event's honorary guest and showcased Jeju City's cultural traditions in its pavilion.
