Sharjah 24: On February 25th, a thousand camels took part in the Central Zamul Festival at the Al Dhaid racing track, which was organised in partnership with the Zamul Sanctuary.
Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, President of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, oversaw the event, which included rigorous competitions over 32 rounds for tribal camel descendants covering a distance of 1500 metres.
Winners for each round were announced, highlighting outstanding performances. The festival sought to support and encourage camel owners from the Sharjah Camel Racing Club and the Central Zamul Sanctuary.
Al Ketbi thanked Zamul Sanctuary for their ongoing support and for organising the festival for the second time at Al Dhaid racing track.
