Sharjah 24: On Saturday, in the last round of the General Volleyball League Championship, the women's volleyball team from Sharjah Sports Club won Al Wasl by a score of 3-0 in the Ajman Sports Club Hall.

Looking ahead to the next few weeks, the Sharjah team has two crucial matches against American University and IEPEC Academy.

On behalf of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation, Dr Abdulaziz Al Noman, Sports Advisor to the Sharjah Women's Sport Foundation, delivered congratulations to the team and its players on their victory.

Karim Bin Ayad, the team's coach, was overjoyed with the major win over Al Wasl, the league champion and one of the top teams overall.
