Sharjah 24: Al Nasr won over Al Jazira 3-2, in the top matches of the 14th round of the ADNOC Professional League, held today, Saturday, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
With this result, Al Nasr raised its score to 18 points in seventh place, while Al Jazira’s score froze at 20 points in sixth place.
Al Nasr opened the scoring through Abdullah Toure in the 2nd minute. Ali Mabkhout equalized for Al-Jazira in the 35th minute. Al Jazira took the lead through Zayed Sultan in the 57th minute and Al Nasr equalized through Adel Taarabt in the 72nd minute, then Moussa N'Diaye scored Al Nasr’s third goal in the 85th minute.
The last minutes of the match witnessed Al Jazira player Ali Mabkhout missing a penalty kick after goalkeeper Ahmed Shambih saved it.
