Sharjah 24: Razan Fahd Al Hammadi, Director of the Green Development Department in the Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock (SDAL), revealed the department’s participation in the UAE Innovation Month 2024, through the use of the latest modern equipment and technologies in wheat cultivation, which saves effort and time and reduces water consumption.
She stressed the department’s keenness to use the best agricultural practices followed and to use modern technology and artificial intelligence at the wheat farm in Mleiha.
She indicated in statements to “Sharjah 24,” that 1,400 hectares have been cultivated on a wheat farm, and the “Saba’ Sanabel” product will be available in local markets. It has five certificates, which include being made in the UAE, being organic and non-genetically modified, along with holding the UAE quality certificate, and the HACCP certificate for meeting the conditions for safe and clean agriculture.
