Sharjah24: Brigadier General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honored 311 officers who have obtained intellectual property rights in three categories: intellectual works, industrial designs, and innovation patents. The recognition coincided with the activities of the UAE Innovates , in appreciation of their continuous outstanding contributions to the development of police work in the field of artificial intelligence, which contributes to the enhancement of the security work system.
Major General Al Shamsi praised the efforts of the honorees in promoting a culture of innovation, commending their dedication and commitment to enhancing the police work system, its development, and its leadership. He emphasized that their accomplishments serve as a role model for building an encouraging environment for innovation and purposeful creativity, thus enhancing the quality of life in the community.

Colonel Tariq Al-Midfaa, the Director of Strategy and Performance Development at Sharjah Police, affirmed that the achievements in the field of intellectual property and the adoption of innovative ideas reflect the General Command's commitment to promoting a culture of innovation and developing its security mechanisms, thereby solidifying its position as a leading institution in the field of security and technology. He also noted that Sharjah Police spares no effort in obtaining accreditations in various fields, sustaining the development of its police departments, continuously seeking to train and develop its human resources, and providing unlimited support to ambitious ideas and projects in various security and police fields. He further highlighted the continuous encouragement given by the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police to innovate and excel in work, which contributes to raising the level of performance, efficiency, and quality of the services provided. This aligns with the strategies of the UAE government, aiming to promote innovation and realize its aspirations for building advanced and prosperous societies.

The honorees expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police for this recognition, noting that his constant commitment to following up on the officers, motivating and directly supporting them through adopting innovative ideas and translating them into reality, has had a significant impact in encouraging them to generate energy and ideas that serve the security work for the UAE community.
