Sharjah24: Dr. Jamal Al Naqbi, the official spokesperson for the Subaihiya Ramadan Football Tournament, announced the start of the eighth edition of the tournament on March 15th, under the sponsorship of Sharjah Sports Council.
The organizing committee of the Subaihiya Ramadan Football Tournament held a press conference on Saturday at the Khorfakkan Literary Council,  announcing the details of the upcoming eighth edition of the tournament, scheduled to begin on March 15th.

The conference was attended by officials, representatives of sports associations and clubs, sports enthusiasts, the chairman and members of the organizing committee, as well as residents and dignitaries from the Subaihiya region.

Dr. Jamal Al Naqbi, the official spokesperson for the Subaihiya Ramadan Football Tournament, stated that the eighth edition of the tournament will feature the participation of 8 teams, and all matches will be held at the Subaihiya Park Stadium, promising that the tournament will be full of surprises.

In statements to Sharjah 24, he further mentioned that the tournament includes various cultural, artistic, and heritage events, serving as a Ramadan gathering for the residents of Subaihiya and the surrounding areas.

He also highlighted the participation of football legends from the first generation in the tournament, which will take place over a period of 3 weeks, affirming that the matches played three days a week during the holy month of Ramadan, concluding on March 30th.

Al Naqbi acknowledged that the tournament will hold under the sponsorship of the Sharjah Sports Council and with the participation and support of several private and sports institutions, including the Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club.
