The seventh edition of the Dibba Al Hisn Dual Theatre Festival, organized by the Theatre Department of the Department of Culture taking place at the Cultural Center in Dibba Al Hisn City, which was commenced on Friday and will continue until 20th of February.
The festival's performances began with a theatrical show titled 'Some Things' by playwright Fadi Georges and director Mohammed Juma. The show was attended by officials, artists, theatre enthusiasts, and a large audience.
Al Hosani, the General Coordinator of the Dibba Al Hisn Dual Theatre Festival, stated in statements to Sharjah 24 that the seventh edition is filled with performances from UAE, Egypt, Morocco, Kuwait, and Syria.
She added that the festival is accompanied by a rich cultural program, and on its sidelines, the 19th Sharjah Arab Theatre Festival titled 'The Theatre and the Future' is being held.
Al Hosani explained that the program also includes three artistic workshops on 'Directing Techniques in Contemporary Theatre,' Dramatic Writing,' and 'Developing Imagination and Expressive Skills for Actors.
