The closing ceremony was held at the Misr Public Library in Luxor (the open-air theatre on the Sphinx Avenue), in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Owais, Head of the Department of Culture in Sharjah; Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs in the Department; Dr. Hamdi Mohamed Hussein, President of Luxor University; Dr. Muhammad Hassani, director of the library; Safiya al Qabbani, head of the Syndicate of Fine Artists in Egypt; and a large number of poets, intellectuals, and those interested in poetry.
The festival, held over 4 days, hosted an elite group of poets, writers and academics from 21 Egyptian governorates, in addition to more than 60 Egyptian and Arab artists.
The last day of the festival was celebrated in two distinguished poetry sessions, the first of which began on the banks of the Nile River, where the poem embraced the spirit of nature; while the second was in the Misr Public Library in Luxor, on the open stage on the Sphinx Avenue , where poetry was mixed with the roots of the historical archaeological place.
