Sharjah24: Yousif Hassan Al Hammadi, Vice-President Emirates Aerosport Federation (EAF), disclosed details about the fifth edition of the Sharjah International Paragliding Championship at a press conference held in the Sharjah Sports Council. The event, set to take place in the scenic Al Fayah region in Mleiha, will feature the participation of top-ranked pilots from around the world.
During an exclusive interview with Sharjah 24, Al-Hammadi stated, "The championship, generously sponsored by the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, is scheduled to commence on Friday, February 16, spanning three days and boasting the involvement of over 40 racers representing various countries.
Al Hammadi praised the Al Fayah region, emphasising its distinction and beauty as an ideal location for paragliding. He extended a warm invitation to sports enthusiasts across the country, both citizens and residents, encouraging them to attend and immerse themselves in the excitement of the competitions, the unique setting, and the delightful weather currently gracing the nation.
