Sharjah24: Yesterday evening, at Rahmania Mall in Sharjah, nineteen members of the 'Digital Life Ambassadors' group from the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) celebrated World Safer Internet Day.
The purpose of the gathering was to bring attention to the dangers of internet use and to discuss solutions to problems like cyberbullying and online extortion.

They used their mall platform to host skits on internet dangers, hold contests to get people talking about the issue, and promote awareness through social media.

The “Digital Life Ambassadors” project, which includes 300 students from throughout Sharjah ranging in age from eighteen to sixteen, involves a series of activities of this type.

There are a number of phases to the programme, beginning with the selection and assessment phase and continuing with training at the partner institutions that support the programme.

To raise awareness among students about safe digital behaviours, this phase comprises several activities, events, and visits.
