Sharjah 24: The Wildlife Conservation Film Festival (WCFF)'s 14th edition has recognised "Sharjah Safari," a documentary that the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, and the Environment and Protected Areas Authority co-produced, as the Best Long Documentary Film from the Middle East.
This year's event took place at the Environmental Learning Centre in Rookery Bay, Naples, Florida, USA, and is part of the yearly New York City festival calendar.

If you're interested in environmental protection, sustainability, wildlife preservation, or any of the related fields, you ought to absolutely seek out the WCFF. The world-famous film database, IMDB, has verified and documented it.

The film's artistic producer, Ashraf Ali, and assistant executive producer, Saeed Rashid bin Fadel Al Ketbi, accepted the accolade on behalf of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority. Christopher J. Gervais, the festival's CEO and founder handed the accolade to Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, the executive producer.

There were more than 2,000 films from independent producers all around the world that took part in the festival. The seven-day festival ran from January 16th through the 22nd, and only 45 films were chosen to be screened.

Ten further films from other categories were given certificates of participation, and "Sharjah Safari" was selected as one of the two winning entries.

Nature and wildlife documentary producers, conservators, and experts in the field were very engaged with the film throughout the festival.

Within Al Dhaid's Al Bardi Reserve, the documentary "Sharjah Safari" chronicles the project as it progresses through its many phases. Starting with planning and design and continuing through implementation and careful oversight, it covers it all.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is featured significantly in the documentary for his ongoing engagement. His frequent trips to the site were rewarded when the largest safari park outside of Africa was inaugurated and opened to the public.

Experts and professionals from the domains of biology, veterinary science, engineering, and technology involved in the project are interviewed in the video.

The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority's "Maraya" app, which can be downloaded from a variety of web stores, allows viewers to view the documentary.
