Sharjah 24: Her Excellency Wahida Abdulaziz, Chairperson of the Friends of Arthritis Patients Association in Sharjah, announced the organisation of the Million Steps Marathon as part of the preparations for the association’s eleventh marathon, which saw the participation of 26 private schools across the Emirate of Sharjah, with a total of 300 male and female students.
Her Excellency stated that as part of the preparations for the association’s eleventh marathon, the Million Steps Marathon was organised.
Her Excellency added that the Million Steps Marathon targets school students of all categories from the first to the twelfth grade.
Her Excellency noted that more than 26 private schools across the Emirate of Sharjah are participating in the Million Steps Marathon, with a total of 300 students, both male and female.
Her Excellency stressed that the association continues to organise many events and activities at the level of the Emirate of Sharjah, with the aim of drawing the attention of all segments of society to patients with arthritis and ways to prevent it.
At the end of her statement, Her Excellency thanked and appreciated the Sharjah Private Education Authority for its constant cooperation. She also thanked all the participants for making this important event a success.
