Sharjah 24: As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen communication within the diverse educational community, the Central Region Parents Council under the Districts Affairs Department in Sharjah convened its inaugural educational meeting for the year 2024.
The meeting, held at the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, delved into discussions on educational matters and strategies to enhance educational performance.
Parents actively contributed by presenting their suggestions and observations on ways to improve educational outcomes, foster educational activities, elevate academic achievements across various educational levels, prepare students for future professions, meet evolving university requirements, and fulfill the nation's demand for qualified individuals with strong values.
Attendance included Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Central Region Parents Council, alongside council members. Also present were Musabih Butti Al Qaydi, Deputy Chairman of the Mleiha Municipal Council, and Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, along with board members. School directors from the Mleiha region, as well as parents of students spanning different educational stages in Mleiha, were also in attendance.
Al Mahyan commended the consistent support of the wise leadership in promoting education, emphasising that family support significantly contributes to achieving educational and developmental objectives. He underscored the national imperative of graduating resilient and outstanding generations that actively contribute to societal building and development.
The event witnessed constructive engagement between Central Region Parents Council members and participants, with valuable ideas and opinions reflecting their deep commitment to continuous improvement in education and upbringing. The exchange of ideas and personal experiences played a pivotal role in enriching the dialogue, guiding it towards the most crucial issues for parents.
