The competition promotes community interaction in order to raise tourism awareness and familiarise the public with Al Madam's historical and entertainment assets.
The initiative aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, supporting culture, heritage, and government efforts in heritage tourism. Sultan Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, emphasised the continuance of the "Discover Al Madam" competition in accordance with His Highness Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah. This continued assistance highlights His Highness's specific emphasis on culture and heritage, as well as the government's leadership in developing heritage tourism in the emirate.
He also said that the competition was launched as a fresh and integrated project to promote tourism and historical assets in the Al Madam region.
