Inmates who engage in the Quran Award are actively involved in rehabilitative and educational initiatives offered by the Punitive and Correctional Institution, in collaboration with strategic partners. The objective is to provide support to them and enhance their conduct, guiding them towards a path of virtuous living . The main focus of this programme is to help inmates make the most of their time by dedicating it to memorising the Quran. This approach greatly influences inmates’ conduct and facilitates their reintegration into the community.

The 22nd edition of the Ras Al Khaimah Quran Award is a significant event that promotes competition, coexistence, and tolerance among individuals from various nationalities.
