Sharjah 24: A report issued by the Sharjah Charity International (SCI) showed that the SCI's dialysis centre has contributed to providing 6,500 dialysis sessions since the beginning of this year at a financial cost of 4.8 million dirhams, within the framework of therapeutic assistance programmes for kidney failure patients registered on the SCI’s records.
Abdullah Saif bin Hindi, Acting Executive Director, stated that the SCI has achieved successful progress in the quality of therapeutic assistance provided to kidney failure patients in terms of the speed of the therapeutic response once the aid committee approves the assistance request.
He stressed that the centre works continuously throughout the week, morning and evening, and conducted 6,500 sessions throughout the current year, with the month of September having the highest number of sessions, with 609 sessions, followed by the month of November, during which 593 sessions were conducted.
