Sharjah 24: At the Khatmat Malaha Border Crossing in the Sultanate of Oman, a delegation from the Emirate of Sharjah's Organising Committee for Ports and Border Crossings (PBC) attended a reception that was arranged to commemorate the United Arab Emirates' 52nd Union Day, symbolising the depth of the two sisterly countries' historical, brotherly, and strategically anchored ties.
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi, Director of Border Ports and Points Affairs and Chairman of the Emirate of Sharjah's Organising Committee for Ports and Border Points headed the committee delegation. Colonel Issa Rashid Al Abdouli, Acting Director of Land Ports Management at Sharjah's General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs, and Colonel Dr. Faisal Al Naqbi, Acting Chief of the External Areas Ports Police Department at Sharjah Police General Command, were also among the delegation's officers and officials.

Colonel Saeed bin Mohammed Al Jabri, Assistant Commander of the Police in Oman's North Al Batinah Governorate, welcomed the group, which included various officers, officials, and dignitaries from the Sultanate of Oman. Following that, there was an exchange of congratulations and greetings between the border crossing leaders from the Emirati and Omani sides, draped with the flags of both fraternal nations, reinforcing the depth of the two sides' connections.

Al Raisi emphasised that Emirati-Omani relations are evident manifestations of brotherhood and shared historical ties, based on principles of collaboration and mutual respect. These ties are based on a shared cultural history and strong social bonds created by the founding fathers, and they have grown stronger thanks to the efforts of both countries' wise leadership. Al Raisi thanked the brothers in the Sultanate of Oman for their great endeavour.
