Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command’s “Economic Empowerment Project for Families of Inmates in the Department of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Sharjah,” initiative won the Ideas Arabia Conference & Award 2023 in its 16th cycle.
The ceremony, held by Dubai Quality Group, took place at the Dubai Police Officers Club, where 66 winners were honoured,
The award was received by Colonel Mona Sorour Al Shuwaihi, Acting Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Sharjah.
She emphasised that the project aims to qualify inmates’ families by helping them find income sources during the absence of the family’s breadwinner.
