Sharjah24: The Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) announced the opening of registrations for its "Winter Wonders" camp across all eight branches. Scheduled from December 11 to the 28th, the camp is designed to make the most of children's leisure time, offering diverse and constructive activities that foster skill development within a secure educational environment.
Geared towards children and girls aged 3 to 16, as well as boys aged 3 to 8, the camp will unfold over four days each week, starting from Monday through Thursday. Activities will unfold at various club facilities, including the sports complex, Collage Talent Centre, Marasi Restaurant, Fitness Centre, Olympic Pool, Talent Innovation Centre, and Tala Educational Centre.
Distinguished by its multifaceted goals, the camp seeks to kindle creativity, bolster personality, sustain children's engagement, empower and equip girls for forthcoming stages of life, all while introducing sustainability and investment concepts. This year's camp agenda encompasses a rich array of indoor and outdoor events, ranging from swimming, ice-skating, and tennis to hands-on crafts such as cooking, drawing, colouring, modern decorative arts, and even agriculture. Educational trips, entertaining activities, games, and competitions are also part of the camp's itinerary.
Alaa Al-Shannasi, Head of Facilities Operations, underscores the camp's role as a dynamic platform for holistic child development, offering an assortment of physical and creative activities. It serves as a unique avenue for youth to explore new skills, refine essential life skills, and gain insights into the significance of sustainability.
