Al Bustan Council meets with Sharjah Department of Housing

Sharjah 24: An important meeting was held at the headquarters of Al Bustan Suburb Council, where a number of topics were discussed between the Council and representatives of Sharjah Department of Housing, with the aim of improving housing services for citizens in the suburb.
This meeting reflects the continued commitment of the Al Bustan Suburb Council to strengthen its role in working to improve the quality of life for the community and ensuring that the needs of citizens, especially young people, are met effectively.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the suburb, in Al Dhaid city, was attended by Dr. Ali Salem Al Tunaiji, Musabah Muhammad Al Tunaiji, and the Muhammad Balaith Al Tunaiji; and from the Housing Department, engineer Ibrahim Al Hosani, Abdullah Al Ansari, and engineer Tamer Abdel Al.

During the meeting, the most important challenges faced by young people in the Al Bustan neighbourhoods regarding the issue of housing were reviewed, and the importance of finding effective solutions to these challenges was emphasised.

In the course of the discussion, several solutions were reached, including providing the Council with the numbers of people whose housing loans were approved, while conducting a statistical study by the Council on the number of married people in Al Bustan neighbourhood who do not own private housing.

It was also agreed that Al Bustan Suburb Council would conduct a census of unmarried individuals, in Al Bustan neighbourhood, who are over the age of 22 years, provided that a subsequent meeting will be held to review the results of the recommendations and take appropriate decisions.

During the meeting, the needs of married and unmarried young people were also discussed, with the aim of understanding the requirements of each group and working towards meeting them better.
