Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) participates in the 2nd session of the Social Support Center Forum for 2023, held by Sharjah Police General Command, at the headquarters of Police Sciences Academy in Sharjah.

Maha Mansour, Director of the Department of Government Communications at SSSD, stated that the department introduced four services.

The four services are:
“Electronic Vision”, a project that allows children to get in touch with parents who are inmates of the Sharjah Police Punitive and Correctional Institution, and communicate with them virtually from home.

“Quick Report”, a service of reporting and receiving an immediate response in less than a minute.

“Virtual Babysitter”, a service provided to elderly people who live alone, where a large screen is placed in the member’s home to communicate with him/her and check on the member’s general condition.

“Super Strong” is a program based on verbal intelligence technology to enhance self-confidence in children facing bullying or assault problems.
