Sharjah24: Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has emphasised that the Department hosted the media committee for the 2023 Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) elections, stressing that the initiative aims to encourage the employees of the SEDD to participate and register in the electoral lists.
In an interview with “Sharjah24”, he emphasised that the Department's decision to register its Emirati cadres in the electoral lists was a direct response to the invitation from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
This invitation highlights the significance of encouraging the involvement of the Emirate's residents in the efforts of nation-building and community service. This participation occurs within the framework of the parliament, with the objective of supporting His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the government in discussing the policies, legislation, laws, and public services in the Emirate.
Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud extended his well wishes for success and prosperity to all voters and candidates.
