These seminars addressed a number of topics, including the Department’s role in protecting intellectual property and consumer protection, as well as the role of anticipating the future in the economy, stimulating investment and developing the economy “path to sustainability”. Likewise, the seminars discussed the issue of metrological control and its economic impact, quality of life in the work environment, as well as entrepreneurship and its impact on economic development.
In addition, SEDD confirmed its adoption of a general strategy in accordance with Sharjah International Book Fair, with the aim of improving the human element, especially the youth sector, by spreading the concept of knowledge and economic culture. Thus, the Department organized six cultural seminars, which in turn contributed to raising individual culture with the concepts of sustainability, innovation and development and raising the quality of life and the economic environment to advance the economic wheel in the emirate and its sustainability.
Moreover, SEDD pointed out that its participation in the activities of the Sharjah International Book Fair is one of the priorities that comes at the top of its ambitious programs and annual plans, through which it supports the dissemination of sustainable economic culture. Also, The Department believes that the crystallization of the culture of book fairs, with its general social presence and accompanying activities such as workshops and seminars, will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening the concept of cultural mobility in society, especially in the economic field.
