Sultan bin Ahmed takes part in "Tarahum for Gaza" at UOS

Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UOS) , participated in "Tarahum for Gaza", which was organized by UOS in cooperation with the Big Heart Foundation and the Sharjah Charity International in order to assist Palestinians in Gaza.
The campaign took place in the University of Sharjah's main building to support those impacted by the conflict in the Gaza Strip by preparing various relief packages and accepting donations,  which reflects the bonds of compassion and brotherhood that aid the Palestinian brothers who were affected by the war.
Sultan bin Ahmed was briefed on the great efforts made by campaign's organizing members and volunteers who contributed to providing urgent relief packages to the affected Palestinian children and families, which mirrors the firm solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people and embodies the spirit and values of goodness and feelings of brotherhood towards our Arab brothers.
The President of the University of Sharjah, was briefed on the methods of preserving, wrapping, and storing relief packages to ensure reaching the affected people in Gaza in the best conditions. Sultan bin Ahmed participated with the male and female students in packing the relief packages. Sultan bin Ahmed thanked all members and volunteers who contributed to succeeding the campaign.
The President of the University of Sharjah was accompanied in the campaign by: Maryam Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director General of the Big Heart Foundation, Dr. Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, Executive Director of Sharjah Charity International, and a number of members of the university’s teaching and administrative staff, representatives of charitable organizations and student volunteers.
