Raad told Sharjah 24 that the company's booth has books, manuscripts, and maps spanning from the eleventh to the nineteenth centuries, with values ranging from 5,000 to 1,000,000 dirhams.
He believes that the volumes cover a wide range of topics, while the maps provide a glimpse into the global environment of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
He also said that the books' subjects vary from the Gulf States to psychology and hunting. There are also rare world-wide maps and manuscripts from Arab and Western countries on exhibit. He went on to say that one of the most valuable manuscripts on display was written in 1590 by the explorer Gasparo Balbi, who confirmed the existence of Abu Dhabi by documenting his pursuit for pearls in the city at that time. This book is valued at 150,000 euros.
