The programme will continue until the end of October, and comes within the ongoing programmes conducted by the training department designing programmes according to the request of government agencies and institutions in Sharjah within their studied training needs.
The programme's workshops were held in groups, whereas each group includes about 50 employees working in the fields of information security and technology. The number of the members so far has reached 102 male and female employees.
The programme was organised in implementation of the recommendations of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, enhancing cooperation between government institutions, and supplementing the training agenda for employees with digital security programmes, to enrich the government work with knowledge to deal with information protection and security, which embodies the highest importance within the requirements of the current digital age.
The programme aims to introduce operational security in the context of the information age, and highlights the security of using commonly classified digital files. It also contributes to raising digital awareness among employees and developing their perception about sharing files and information with others in the digital work environments.
The programme's exercises address ways to protect against potential risks, and focus on content when dealing with the shared information.
In turn, SDHR is keen to organise programmes and workshops that support digital work systems and raise security awareness in the field of electronic protection, given that the digital security is one of the most important challenges due to its emergence in parallel with the global technical renaissance.
