The campaign aims to shed light on the most important phenomena affecting communities and to enhance awareness content regarding issues such as bullying, electronic addiction, and child harassment through various social media channels and communication platforms. The campaign will continue until November of the coming year.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police General Command emphasised the importance of strengthening coordination among various social institutions to serve individuals and improve their stability. He stressed that the role of the security media in the campaign would be to spread comprehensive awareness messages in different languages about issues that threaten family stability as well as preventive measures. This campaign tries to reach a broader segment of society.
The campaign 'A Stable Family... A Safe Community' includes a variety of awareness programmes, workshops, and media messages.
The Head of the Family Development Department and its branches, Mouza bint Mohammed Al Shamsi, underlined the department's reliance on direct engagement with families to address family-related concerns. She highlighted that societal concerns have altered as a result of global technological improvements, prompting the department to expand its awareness efforts.
She also stated that their media partnership with the General Command of Sharjah Police is a long-standing endeavour that plays an important role in achieving long-term development goals.
