Sharjah 24: Sharjah's Social Security Fund (SSSF) provided guidance on leave and loan policies. According to the SSSF, the subscription term for workers and female employees covered by the insurance includes any time off due to leave, internal or external loans, or mergers. Emirate of Sharjah Law No. 5 on Social Security now protects these basic freedoms.
When discussing insurance coverage provided by the Sharjah government, the term "subscription period" is used to describe the length of time an employee or female employee is covered by insurance during the course of her job.
Included are both internal and external loans, as well as combined leave and loan durations. They all pay into a pension fund that will provide for both male and female workers once their job ends.
