‘Sharjah Arabian Horse Festival’, Egyptian breed, kicks off Oct 22

Sharjah 24: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club is organising the 17th edition of the Sharjah International Arabian Horse Festival, the Egyptian breed, with the participation of 62 horses, from the UAE, Jordan and Iraq, next Saturday in the club’s covered hall.
The festival is held in cooperation with the Sharjah International Airport Free Zone Authority - Save Zone - the official sponsor of the festival, and in collaboration with the Emirates Arabian Horse Society.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, chairs the Supreme Organising Committee.

The festival's competitions include categories for fillies aged 1 to 3 years, mares aged 4 years and older, colts aged 1 to 3 years, and stallions, in addition to the main races.
