Sharjah24: His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) and Chairman of the Election Management Committee, announced the launch of the first phase of the elections, which is the registration of electoral bodies, on October 23 and will continue for 29 days until next November 20.
His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, revealed that preparation for the electoral process began at the beginning of this year, and the hybrid system was decided upon after reviewing the Federal National Council elections.
Al-Jarwan explained, in statements to Sharjah 24, that the elections take place in 4 stages, the first of which begins with the registration of electoral bodies, then the nomination stage, which will be attended by the municipalities of the cities and regions of the emirate, the voting stage in which 9 election centers covering the Emirate of Sharjah have been prepared, and finally the sorting stage, Electronic mail, calling on those who wish to run for the Sharjah Consultant elections to submit their papers during the candidate registration period.
