Jamila Ibrahim, the clinics official for the Pink Caravan, confirmed that they are continuing their journey in raising awareness and providing free medical examinations for all community groups, and today the Pink Caravan initiative was organised at Al Majaz Waterfront, in cooperation with the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).
She added to “Sharjah 24” that this event is being organised by Friends of Cancer Patients, within the activities of the “Pink October” campaign, and in cooperation with the strategic partner “MST” and the Ministry of Health and Prevention. She added that the “mobile clinic” of the “Pink Caravan” introduces visitors to the importance of early detection of breast cancer and ways to combat it.
Jamila Ibrahim pointed out that the campaign includes the clinical examination for all women aged 20 years and above, and the “mammogram” examinations for all women aged 40 years and above, confirming that the medical clinic is equipped with the latest medical equipment for examination and early detection of breast cancer.
