Sharjah24: The Sharjah Human Resources Department (SHRD), in collaboration with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), organised an open day for job seekers to enroll in a number of professional qualifications at the 5th level approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with the goal of graduating trained and qualified national cadres in the fields and specialisations of cultural heritage.
The Department called on job seekers with a high school diploma who are enrolled in the Sharjah Human Resources Department's system to learn about professional qualifications that are offered in the field of heritage and approved by the Ministry of Education's National Qualifications Centre.
The programs offer 4 professional qualifications that provide graduates with various knowledge in a variety of cultural heritage, educational, tourism, and media fields.
Commenting on this, Eng. Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Human Resources Department, emphasised the Department's commitment to developing opportunities for employment and providing national talents with practical experiences to help them advance in their careers. Al Shamsi has further stressed that the Department works in line with the lofty vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, shedding light on His Highness’ interest in professional and careers development of the national youth cadres, ensuring to support and enhance their position in all fields, as the Emirate of Sharjah is distinguished by offering promising opportunities in the cultural heritage fields reflecting the high interest of His Highness.
He continued to say that this collaboration demonstrates the Department's efforts to establish supporting strategic relationships, consolidate joint cooperation, and achieve integration of roles among the emirate's institutions and entities. This contributes to achieve common goals with the participation by all relevant parties to serve the emirate's directives.
In turn, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of Sharjah Institute for Heritage, emphasised that organising the open day to introduce job seekers to the package of professional diploma programs in the field of cultural heritage falls within the Institute's eagerness to open channels of partnership and cooperation with various government bodies and institutions in the emirate and abroad, and to coordinate with them in aspects of cultural heritage. He also stressed that this comes in line with the vision of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, aiming to prepare national competencies capable of contributing effectively to strengthening institutional heritage work.
His Excellency emphasised that the Institute seeks to consolidate the Emirate of Sharjah's position as a leading center for education, training, development, and research, as well as to prepare national cadres academically and professionally in various heritage styles, translating the Interest of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
