Sharjah24: The Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) continues to implement the Strategic Orientation Programme for the growth of government services. The training programme has so far guided two groups and will continue until the end of November 2023, with 42 government officials at the Sharjah Holy Quran Academy.
The programme's goal is to equip leaders for innovation and development activities inside government organisations that match the UAE's vision and strategy for government services in the future. It also focuses on matching government service development plans in the Emirate of Sharjah with future ambitions.
The programme consists of four main pillars: future readiness and digital empowerment, government excellence and best practices in government services, innovation and preemptive service design, and managing and developing the customer experience journey.
Mr Walid Abdul Al-Latif, Government Innovation Consultant and Expert in Service Design and Future Work Systems, stated that participants leave the programme with a significant number of development recommendations and initiatives to implement within their respective government departments.
They also discuss current best practices in Sharjah, as well as continuing success stories and initiatives, in order to achieve a clear picture of the best methods to encourage joint efforts to produce comprehensive and distinctive government services that improve the quality of life for everybody.
The Directorate is committed to implementing all development and improvement initiatives that increase the quality of government work, as well as staying current on the newest tools and regulations that move government services towards greater competitiveness.
