Khaled Al Nakhi, Director of the Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer), an affiliate of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, confirmed that the 12th International Government Communication Forum provided valuable opportunities for young people to discuss many issues that concern them, and highlight their contributions, ideas, and future projects.
He added that Rubu’ Qarn institutions are strongly participating in the forum’s activities, and are focusing on the themes of sustainability and artificial intelligence.
For his part, Majid Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Sharjah Youth Council, said that, on the first day of the forum, the Sharjah Youth Council held several interactive sessions in cooperation with the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) and “Ruwad”. The sessions discussed the role of youth in economic growth and the challenges of entrepreneurship.
Al Hammadi added that, on the closing day of the forum, the Council is organising a session on sustainability, food security, and the efforts and projects of the Emirate of Sharjah in this context.
Iman Bin Shaibah, Director of the Community Outreach Department at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre “Sheraa,” said that the centre is participating in the forum’s activities with the aim of introducing its role in supporting young people who want entrepreneurship to enhance their role in economic growth and self-realisation.
She explained that the centre participated in an interactive session in the “Our Youth is Our Wealth” hall, in which it reviewed its programmes to support youth, including awareness programmes, incubator programmes, and the centre’s programmes at universities, including the American University of Sharjah.
