Sharjah Munshid postpones auditions in Morocco to September 23

Sharjah 24: "Sharjah Munshid" programme, produced by Sharjah TV, postponed the auditions for the 15th edition in the Kingdom of Morocco, to September 23, due to the earthquake that struck the Kingdom and the Moroccan authorities declaring a state of official mourning for 3 days.
On this painful occasion, the programme staff announced their solidarity with the Moroccan people in their ordeal and expressed their deep sadness and regret over the natural disaster, indicating that standing by Moroccan brothers reflects the human values that the programme carries, which encourages solidarity and assistance in difficult times.

The programme revealed that the auditions, in Morocco, will be held on September 23, instead of September 13, at the Rabat Hotel in the capital, Rabat.

The jury in Morocco consists of singers Mohamed Khalfaoui and Mourad Steto, who are responsible for selecting the munshid who will represent their country in the fifteenth edition of the programme, and who will seek to return the title to the Morocco that holds a record number of five titles.

The qualifying round for the finals will continue in Algeria on September 16th, then Cairo on September 20th, and then Sharjah on September 23rd.

In parallel, online performance tests will continue until the 23rd of September, through the programme's official website, www.munshidsharjah.ae.
