Sharjah Camel Club and Al Dhaid Municipality hold meeting

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Camel Racing Club held an important meeting with Al Dhaid Municipality to discuss and follow up the observations of camel owners and to consult on improving the services provided to Al Dhaid Racecourse.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club; Hamad Rashid Al Tunaiji, Director of Al Dhaid Municipality; in the presence of Saeed Matar bin Dalmouk, Head of the Agriculture Department in the Municipality; Nasser Saeed Al Tunaiji, Head of the Safety and Municipal Inspection Department in the Municipality; and Salem Saeed Al Tunaiji, Head of Operations Department in the Municipality. 

The meeting discussed a number of topics of common concern. The two sides also discussed ways of cooperation and synergy, laying the foundations for developing joint relations, and discussing the measures taken by the municipality regarding the services provided to the club and Al Dhaid Racecourse.

Bin Howaiden started the meeting by extending his highest thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his interest in Al Dhaid Racecourse and camel racing, his continuous support for this ancient heritage sport and his encouragement for the people of the country to adhere to the sport of their fathers and grandfathers. 

Bin Howaiden also praised the support of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for the development of Al Dhaid Racecourse and the facilities of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, and his unlimited support for camel owners.

Bin Howaiden also praised the achievements made by Hamad Rashid Al Tunaiji since assuming the position as the Director of Al Dhaid Municipality in all fields, which were represented in the development of services in Al Dhaid regions and government departments, and the continuous endeavour to increase the green area and the completion of infrastructure projects and services that serve the citizens of Al Dhaid.

Hamad Al Tunaiji stressed the keenness of Al Dhaid Municipality to serve the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, provide the best services to Al Dhaid Racecourse, and to fulfill the aspirations of camel owners to improve the services provided to them.
