Sharjah24: The team delegated by the Theatrical Association landed in Cairo on Thursday evening to attend the 30th edition of the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater which will take place from 1–8 September 2023.
This came in the implementation of the initiative launched by the Theatrical Association, aiming to send award-winning artists in local theatrical festivals to different important Arab and international theatrical festivals, aiming to expand their experiences in this field.
The delegates, who numbered eight people and were the winners of the previous session of the Sharjah Theater Days, were provided with round-trip tickets to and from Cairo by the Theatrical Association. They were also provided with hotel accommodations as well as pocket money for each delegate.
The Secretary-General of the Arab Theatre Institute, Ismail Abdullah has highlighted the significance of this initiative, expressing hopes to send more winners in the country's various upcoming cultural events.
