Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has authorised the University of Sharjah (UOS) to implement a hybrid education system for unique instances. Working students who are unable to attend in-person sessions on a regular basis are considered. His Highness also emphasised the necessity of learning and appreciating the Arabic language.
His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, said during a phone interview on Sharjah Radio and Television's "Direct Line" programme, hosted by journalist Mohammed Hassan Khalf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, "I sympathise with working students who are unable to consistently attend university. As a result, the University of Sharjah will implement a hybrid education system that blends in-person and remote learning. Instead of three days per week, a student has to be at the university for one day per week for each course under this approach. The following two days will be completed remotely through the internet. This system will be used only in particular instances with evidence that the student's circumstances demand the hybrid approach in order for them to complete their education. This includes employees who are unable to take leave; it does not apply to everyone."

His Highness made the statements in response to a phone call from "Umm Saud," who complained about her inability to attend lectures on a regular basis due to her commitment to work as an employee.
"If people truly understood the importance of the language they speak, they would engage in learning it with dedication and persistence, as I have done," said His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, of the Arabic language, its relevance, and its roots.

This is the language that the Creator of the universe, glorified and exalted be He, communicated with our father Adam, peace be upon him. According to Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah, the Almighty, taught Adam the names of all things, then He presented them to the angels and said, "Tell Me the names of these, if what you say is true." Our father Adam is believed to have descended to Earth in Ethiopia, and his descendants were born there. His skin tone was similar to that of modern Abyssinians. The reproduction of Adam's descendants resulted in a diversity of skin tones, according to the genetic rules established by the Austrian scientist Gregor Johann Mendel.

"Following that, individuals with darker skin remained in the forests, while those with lighter skin migrated northward until they reached Europe, particularly the region of present-day Italy," His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi stated.

Those with tanned skin travelled to the Arabian Peninsula, which was an easy move due to its closeness to the African coast. Indeed, we have uncovered evidence of early habitation in the Emirate of Sharjah, and corresponding artefacts have just been unearthed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As a result, this language's categorization and arrangement constitute the pinnacle of linguistics. This is especially true when it comes to the Arabic language.

"I am researching the Arabic language, knowing that its name is 'the language' and not the Arabic language," His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah stated. During my journey to discover the language's origins and history, I travelled to Italy and brought 4 volumes of dictionaries, including an Arabic dictionary of the Latin language, and compared Latin with Arabic, discovering that Latin words are of Arabic origin, so let everyone make sure the language we speak came from our father Adam's tongue, peace be upon him, who was taught by the Lord of the Worlds, Glory be to Him, and no one dares to distort or insult it, as it is part of worship, because it is the Qur'an's language, so no foreigner recites English during prayer, and if he speaks any language other than Arabic, his prayer will not be accepted, thus I ask everyone who listens to me to respect as well as learn it, and I will review valuable information about the Arabic language in a lecture or book soon, God willing, and we wish everyone success and continue learning.
