Sharjah24: The Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment has successfully concluded its summer programmes for 2023. These specialised courses provided a valuable platform for enriching the understanding and recitation of the Quran, as well as for delving deeper into the teachings of the Prophetic Sunnah, catering to a diverse range of age groups.
The summer courses garnered remarkable engagement, drawing the participation of over 300 students, both male and female. Conducted both on-site and online, these courses spanned from 2nd July to 24th August 2023.
The curriculum encompassed a comprehensive array of educational and enlightening initiatives, strategically designed to enhance the students' proficiency in memorising and eloquently reciting the Quran. Additionally, the courses aimed to foster a profound comprehension of the revered Prophetic Sunnah.
A specifically tailored intensive summer programme was exclusively offered to the institute's students. It provided an interactive pedagogical environment aimed at elevating the standards of reading, comprehension, and contemplation, all within the profound context of the Quranic verses and Prophetic teachings.
Culminating this enriching journey, an accolade-laden closing ceremony took place at the institute's central headquarters in Sharjah city to commend and honour the participants for their unwavering dedication and investment of time in studying the divine revelations of the Quran and the honourable Prophetic traditions.
Expressing his thoughts on the event's success, Omar Al-Shamsi, the Director of the Sharjah Institute for Quranic and Prophetic Studies, stated: "We take immense pride in the remarkable accomplishments achieved through this year's summer programmes. They stand as a testament to the institute's commitment to delivering exceptional educational opportunities to students spanning a wide spectrum of age groups."
Al-Shamsi further emphasised that these courses mirror the institution's commitment to their annual organisation, in alignment with the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The objective remains to instil a sense of enthusiasm within the community members towards memorising the Quran. Al-Shamsi extended his gratitude to the orchestrators of the summer programmes, the dedicated staff who contributed to their resounding success, as well as to the participants, attendees, and parents who actively supported the endeavour.
