Sharjah24: The Asian Cup in Classic Powerlifting will kick off at the University of Sharjah from the 16th to the 21st of August, with 48 universities representing 11 Gulf, Arab, and Asian countries participating, as announced by Dr Eid Kanaan, Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Sharjah.
Adding to his excitement at the tournament's adoption at the level of state institutions and Asian countries, Kanaan said in remarks to "Sharjah 24" that the University of Sharjah set the groundwork for organising it elsewhere in the next few years.
