The UOS’s Chancellor warmly welcomed the delegation, emphasizing the University’s commitment to achieving its strategy in accordance with the vision of the founder of the University of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, whose vision is now being implemented by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of UOS, by developing and supporting the educational process to serve the local society .
Al Naimiy also pointed out that the University of Sharjah is recognized as one of the leading academic institutions in the field of education and scientific research at the state level, highlighting its commitment to enhancing joint cooperation with various local, regional and international institutions to foster the exchange of expertise, capabilities and experiences in the field of academic research.
During the visit, the delegation toured the University’s facilities, buildings, and infrastructure, where they visited the Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (RIHSS) to explore the ongoing research conducted at RIHSS and discuss the possibility of collaboration with research groups. The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the laboratories of the institute and explore its capabilities.
The introductory meeting was attended by Prof. Nader El-Bizri, Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, Prof. Mesut Idriz, Director of SIFHAMS, Prof. Fakir Al Gharaibeh, Director of RIHSS, Prof. Saleh Al-Leheabi, Deputy Assistant Vice Chancellor for Branch Affairs, in addition to a number of faculty members and students.
